The Better Way to Book a Party Bus Rental in Missoula
Partybusgreatfalls.com is not a bus company, and it doesn't provide transportation itself. It's a quote-comparison website — the kind that saves you from spending an afternoon calling company after company, repeating your trip details each time, and waiting on callbacks that never quite line up. Instead, you fill out one short form or call 406-836-8150, and the site surfaces vehicle options and rates from a network of independently owned transportation companies serving Missoula and all of western Montana.
Compare party buses, charter buses, minibuses, and Sprinter vans side by side — no account needed, free quote, takes about a minute.
Whether you need a 15-passenger party bus for a night out on Higgins Avenue, a 56-passenger charter bus for a University of Montana away game, or a Sprinter van for an executive transfer to Missoula Montana Airport (MSO), the network has options for it. Every vehicle type, every group size, every occasion — Partybusgreatfalls.com puts the options in front of you so you can find what actually fits your trip. That's the whole point.

Explore The Missoula Charter Bus & Party Bus Amenities
The right amenities depend entirely on what kind of trip you're running. A 25-passenger party bus typically comes loaded with wraparound seating, LED lighting, a premium sound system with Bluetooth connectivity, flat-panel TVs, and a full-length bar area — built for groups that want the celebration to start the moment everyone boards. A minibus trades the party features for practicality: plush reclining seats, powerful climate control, and overhead storage that handles everything from ski gear heading to Lolo Pass to garment bags for a Missoula wedding at the Wilma.
For longer hauls — say, an away trip to Billings for a Griz game on the road — a full-size charter bus adds undercarriage luggage bays, onboard restrooms, and WiFi, so nobody's uncomfortable on the stretch across I-90. Compare amenities and vehicle photos instantly when you pull up a quote.

Find the Right Party Bus for Your Missoula Group
Most people planning group transportation in Missoula hit the same wall: they search online, find a handful of company names, start calling around, and quickly realize that no single company can cover every vehicle type, every date, and every budget. Partybusgreatfalls.com exists to fix that. Because it's a comparison site — not a carrier — you're not limited to one fleet. The network spans multiple independently owned transportation providers serving Missoula, Ravalli County, the Flathead Valley, and beyond.
That means more vehicle options, more competitive pricing, and a much faster path from "I need a bus" to "I found the right one."
The quote process takes about a minute online, and there's no account to create and no obligation attached. If you'd rather talk it through, 406-836-8150 is available any time, any day — same fast result, just with a real conversation. For groups with complex itineraries — multi-stop routes across Missoula, mixed vehicle types for a corporate event at the DoubleTree, or a fleet of minibuses for a University of Montana graduation weekend — the site's support team can help put together a custom package that fits.
You share your trip details once. The options come to you.
Missoula Party Bus & Charter Bus Services
From airport runs at MSO to Griz game day shuttles to bachelorette nights along the Hip Strip, Partybusgreatfalls.com connects Missoula groups with the right bus for any occasion. Explore the service categories below, or call 406-836-8150 to get a quote for your specific event now. See the full group transportation services page for everything available in the region.

Missoula Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Missoula Montana Airport (MSO) (5225 Highway 10 W, Missoula, MT 59808) sits about 5 miles west of downtown — a quick shot, but one that gets complicated fast when you're managing a dozen people with checked luggage across multiple arrival times. Ground transportation pickup at MSO happens curbside at the baggage claim exit on the lower level. There's no consolidated rideshare lot here the way major metros use — it's a smaller regional airport, which means your group coordinator needs to have a confirmed pickup location and timing nailed down before anyone lands, not after.
A Sprinter van works well for smaller arriving groups of 10 or fewer; a minibus handles the bigger groups without requiring two separate vehicles and two separate coordination calls. For groups flying in for a University of Montana graduation, a conference at a downtown Missoula hotel, or a wedding weekend at the Blackfoot River, a single bus arrival is far cleaner than splitting the group into rental cars. Get the full airport transportation details or call 406-836-8150 to lock in an MSO pickup.

Missoula Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Missoula's downtown bar and restaurant scene is genuinely walkable — until you're 12 people deep and trying to keep the group together between Plonk Wine Bar (322 N Higgins Ave), The Rhino Bar (158 Ryman St), and a late stop at Charlie B's (428 N Higgins Ave) at 1 a.m. Getting a rideshare for a group that size at that hour on a Saturday night on Higgins Avenue is a 20-minute wait minimum, and you're looking at multiple vehicles that never quite arrive at the same time.
A party bus for a Missoula bachelorette night keeps everyone moving together, keeps the energy up between stops, and means nobody's splitting off to find their own ride home at the end of the night. A 20-passenger party bus is a solid fit for most bachelorette groups, with LED lighting and Bluetooth sound to carry the vibe from the first pickup to the last drop-off. Weekend rates run roughly $275–$350 per hour — split across a group of 15, that math works out fast.

Missoula Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A party bus arrival is one of the most memorable parts of a milestone birthday — and for a Sweet 16 or quinceañera in Missoula, it sets the tone for the whole night before anyone reaches the venue. Celebration venues around Missoula like the Hilton Garden Inn Missoula (3720 N Reserve St, Missoula, MT 59808) and banquet spaces along Reserve Street have the capacity for large guest counts, but getting 20 or 30 guests there from different parts of the city without losing anyone is its own coordination challenge.
A birthday party bus rental in Missoula solves the logistics and doubles as part of the celebration itself. Party buses in the 18–25 passenger range come with wraparound LED lighting, flat-panel screens, and a sound system — so the party genuinely starts the moment the group boards, not when they arrive. For adult milestone birthdays hitting downtown Missoula spots, a 25-passenger bus works equally well.

Missoula Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Washington-Grizzly Stadium at the University of Montana (32 Campus Dr, Missoula, MT 59812) hosts concerts and major events outside of football season — and downtown Missoula's street grid gets significantly more complicated when 25,000 people are trying to leave the same venue at the same time. The Washington-Grizzly Stadium bus rental guide covers the approach and parking logistics in full. For indoor concerts, the Missoula Civic Center (200 Spruce St, Missoula, MT 59802) seats around 2,500 and is tucked just off Orange Street downtown — street parking in that corridor disappears fast on event nights, and the surrounding residential blocks have permit restrictions that catch out-of-town visitors off guard.
A Missoula concert party bus rental drops your group at the venue entrance and picks everyone up at a pre-arranged curb spot when the show ends — no circling, no surge pricing at midnight. Call 406-836-8150 to compare options for your show date.

Missoula Corporate Event Transportation
Corporate groups in Missoula typically deal with one of two scenarios: shuttling attendees between the airport and a conference hotel like the DoubleTree by Hilton Missoula Edgewater (100 Madison St, Missoula, MT 59801) on the Clark Fork, or moving a full team between multiple venues across the city for a multi-stop corporate retreat or team-building event. Both scenarios get messy with rental cars — parking downtown near the DoubleTree or along the riverfront costs time and money, and coordinating 15 people in five separate vehicles always means someone arrives late.
A minibus or charter bus keeps the whole team on one arrival schedule, eliminates the parking coordination problem entirely, and drops everyone at the door. For executive transfers or smaller leadership groups, a Sprinter van handles the job with a quieter, more private feel. The Missoula corporate event transportation page has more on fleet options for business travel.
Call 406-836-8150 to discuss group rates for multi-day corporate contracts.

Missoula Private Event Transportation Services
The Montana Folk Festival turns downtown Missoula into a pedestrian-priority corridor every July, with Caras Park and the streets along the Clark Fork filling up with tens of thousands of attendees over three days. Parking near the river on festival weekend is essentially nonexistent — the nearby surface lots fill up before noon each day, and driving in from the south side of the city on Van Buren Street means sitting in a backup that adds 30–40 minutes to what should be a 10-minute trip. A private charter bus drops the group at the Caras Park entrance on Carousel Drive and picks everyone up at a pre-set time, completely bypassing the reserve-lot scramble.
For private events like family reunions at Greenough Park, corporate retreats at Paws Up Resort in Greenough (roughly 45 miles northeast on MT-200), or large wedding weekends with guests spread across multiple Missoula hotels, a private event charter bus keeps everyone on one timeline without the carpooling coordination. Call 406-836-8150 to discuss multi-stop or multi-day packages.

Missoula Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season in Missoula typically falls in late April and May, and demand for party buses across western Montana spikes hard in that window. Hellgate High School, Sentinel High School, and Big Sky High School all hold proms within a tight few-week span, and the available party buses in the Missoula market get claimed fast. Waiting until March to book a prom bus almost always means either paying a higher rate or settling for whatever's left.
Book by January or February for a May prom date. The earlier you lock it in, the better the vehicle selection and the more predictable the pricing. Partybusgreatfalls.com makes it easy to compare options from multiple providers in one search — no calling around, no waiting on callbacks. Visit the Missoula prom party bus page for more booking guidance, or call 406-836-8150 right now to check what's still available for your date.

Missoula School Event & Field Trip Transportation
School groups traveling to venues across Missoula and western Montana have access to the full range of charter bus and minibus options through the network — and the vehicles are a meaningful upgrade from a standard yellow school bus for longer trips. Onboard WiFi, climate control, overhead storage for bags and equipment, and onboard restrooms on full-size charter buses make a difference on a three-hour trip to a science museum or an athletic away event.
Popular Missoula-area field trip destinations include the Montana Natural History Center (120 Hickory St, Missoula, MT 59801), the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Wildlife Visitor Center (5705 Grant Creek Rd, Missoula, MT 59808), and the University of Montana's Montana Museum of Art and Culture on campus. For ADA-accessible transportation needs, mention it when you request your quote — accessible vehicles are available through the network. Visit the school event bus rental page or call 406-836-8150 to start planning.

Missoula Sporting Event Transportation
Griz game days at Washington-Grizzly Stadium (32 Campus Dr, Missoula, MT 59812) are the single biggest recurring transportation challenge in Missoula. The stadium holds around 25,000 fans, and on a sold-out Saturday in October — which most home games are — Campus Drive backs up significantly, surface lots on the south side of the university fill before kickoff, and rideshare demand on the east side of campus spikes sharply after the final whistle. The walk from the city-operated parking lots on South 6th Street to the stadium gate is over half a mile.
A charter bus or party bus drops your group at the stadium's commercial vehicle approach on campus and picks everyone up at a set meeting point after the game — no parking cost, no post-game rideshare wait, no half-mile hike back to the car. For away games, a Missoula sporting event bus rental handles the drive to Billings, Bozeman, or beyond without anyone getting stuck navigating I-90 at night. Read the full Washington-Grizzly Stadium bus guide for drop-off specifics, or call 406-836-8150.

Missoula Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Missoula wedding venues are spread across a wide geography — from riverfront locations like The Blackfoot River Lodge east of town to mountain settings up the Rattlesnake drainage to downtown ceremony venues like The Historic Wilma (131 S Higgins Ave, Missoula, MT 59801). When your ceremony and reception are at different sites 20 miles apart, and your guest hotel block is downtown at the DoubleTree by Hilton Missoula Edgewater, coordinating guest transportation without a shuttle bus means asking people to rent cars, navigate Montana highway signage they've never seen, and find their own way home after a reception with an open bar. That rarely works as planned.
A Missoula wedding shuttle bus runs timed loops between the hotel block, the ceremony venue, and the reception — guests arrive together, leave when they're ready, and nobody's driving a road they don't know after dark. A 14-passenger Sprinter limo handles the wedding party on the day itself with a more polished feel. Call 406-836-8150 to build a custom shuttle plan around your venue locations and timeline.

Missoula Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
Western Montana's wine and craft beer scene has grown significantly, and a guided tasting tour that covers multiple stops is genuinely hard to pull off without a bus — the venues aren't all clustered together, and the drives between them cover open highway stretches where designated driving gets complicated fast. Lolo Peak Brewing Company (6201 US-93 S, Lolo, MT 59847) is about 10 miles south of Missoula off US-93. Draught Works Brewery (915 Toole Ave, Missoula, MT 59801) and Kettlehouse Brewing Co. (602 Myrtle St, Missoula, MT 59801) anchor the in-town craft beer circuit, and a Missoula pub crawl hitting all three requires either a designated driver or a bus — there's no other clean option for a group.
A Missoula winery and pub crawl bus rental keeps the whole group on one vehicle, eliminates the designated driver conversation entirely, and means everyone gets to enjoy every stop equally. A 20-passenger party bus or minibus fits most tasting groups well. Call 406-836-8150 to compare options for your tour date.

Frequently Asked Questions About Missoula Party Bus Rentals
How does this website work?
Partybusgreatfalls.com helps you compare bus rental options; it is not the bus company and does not rent, own, or operate vehicles. When you submit the quote form, your trip details go through a booking company so you can review pricing and available vehicles for your date. You compare the options and book through the process shown with your quote.
What is Partybusgreatfalls.com?
Partybusgreatfalls.com is a quote-comparison website for group ground transportation in Missoula and across Montana. It's not a bus company and it doesn't own any vehicles — it's a site that lets you fill out one form and compare party buses, charter buses, minibuses, and Sprinter vans from a network of independently owned transportation providers serving your area. No account needed, no obligation, free quote in about a minute.

How does Partybusgreatfalls.com work?
Enter your trip details — date, group size, pickup and drop-off locations — into the quick online quote form. Within seconds, you'll see vehicle options, photos, and pricing from transportation companies serving Missoula. You compare the options, find what fits your group, and go from there.
If you'd rather talk through the details first, 406-836-8150 is answered any day of the week with the same result.
How much does a party bus cost in Missoula?
Missoula party bus rental prices vary based on vehicle type, your date, and rental duration. As a rough planning guide: a 15-passenger party bus runs $200–$350 per hour on weekdays and $250–$350 on weekends. A 25-passenger bus runs $250–$350 weekday and $275–$375 weekend.
A full charter bus for larger groups or long-distance runs like Bozeman or Billings typically runs $200–$350 per hour. These are planning ranges, not quotes — your actual price depends on your specific trip details. Fill out the form or call 406-836-8150 to get pricing for your exact date in about a minute.
Where does my group meet the bus in Missoula?
That's entirely up to your itinerary. For airport pickups at MSO, the bus meets your group curbside at the baggage claim level once everyone has luggage and is ready. For event nights or wedding shuttles, you set the pickup address — a hotel, a private residence, a downtown block — and the bus comes to you.
The key is coordinating a single confirmed pickup point so the whole group is in one place when the bus arrives, rather than scattered across multiple locations.
Can a charter bus travel outside Missoula — to Bozeman, Billings, or Glacier National Park?
Yes. The network handles out-of-city trips regularly, including away game runs to Bozeman or Billings on I-90, brewery tours down US-93 toward Lolo, and longer scenic routes toward Glacier on US-2. For trips over roughly two hours each way, a full charter bus with onboard restrooms is a noticeably more comfortable option than a party bus or minibus.
Mention your destination when you request a quote and the results will surface vehicles appropriate for the distance.
Do buses serving Missoula handle ski and outdoor gear?
Charter buses and full-size minibuses in the network typically include undercarriage storage bays with enough room for ski bags, snowboards, hiking packs, and other bulky outdoor gear — which matters when you're running a group out to Montana Snowbowl (1700 Snowbowl Rd, Missoula, MT 59802), roughly 12 miles north of downtown. Sprinter vans have more limited cargo capacity. When you fill out your quote, note any oversized gear so the results show vehicles with adequate storage.
How does parking work at University of Montana events?
University of Montana campus events — Griz football at Washington-Grizzly Stadium, concerts at the Adams Center, and graduation ceremonies — bring significant parking demand to an area where surface lots are limited and residential streets around South 6th and Maurice are increasingly permit-restricted. Campus-managed lots require advance purchase on game days, and the closest paid lots to Washington-Grizzly Stadium can charge $20–$30 per vehicle. A charter bus sidesteps all of this — it drops your group at the appropriate campus entrance and picks everyone up at an agreed meeting point after the event.
The Washington-Grizzly Stadium bus guide has the full drop-off detail.
How far in advance should I book a party bus in Missoula?
For most events, booking 4–8 weeks out gives you solid vehicle selection and predictable pricing. For high-demand dates — University of Montana home football games (September through November), Griz-Cat rivalry weekend in late November, prom season (April–May), and the Montana Folk Festival in July — book 2–3 months out minimum. Prom is the tightest window: with Hellgate, Sentinel, and Big Sky High School all scheduling proms within the same few weeks, buses in the Missoula market get claimed fast.
Book by January or February for a spring prom to avoid paying a premium rate or finding nothing available. Call 406-836-8150 as soon as your date is confirmed.
Popular Missoula Party Bus Destinations
Missoula's event venues, outdoor destinations, and university campus give groups plenty of reasons to move around — and plenty of reasons a bus makes more sense than coordinating a car caravan. Here are six destinations where Missoula party bus and charter bus rentals come in especially handy.

Washington-Grizzly Stadium
Washington-Grizzly Stadium (32 Campus Dr, Missoula, MT 59812) holds approximately 25,217 fans and is one of the loudest FCS football environments in the country. On a sold-out October Saturday, Campus Drive approaching the stadium backs up well before kickoff, and the surface lots south of the stadium along South 6th Street require advance-purchase permits that sell out during high-demand games like the Griz-Cat rivalry. Rideshare pickups after the game cluster on the east side of campus, and wait times after a 25,000-person sellout can run 20–30 minutes.
A charter bus drops your group at the stadium's commercial approach and eliminates the post-game rideshare scramble entirely. Read the full Washington-Grizzly Stadium bus rental guide before your visit. Phone: (406) 243-5400.

The Historic Wilma
The Historic Wilma (131 S Higgins Ave, Missoula, MT 59801) is Missoula's landmark concert and event venue, a restored 1921 theater on the south end of Higgins Avenue with a capacity of around 1,000. It hosts touring national acts, comedy shows, and private events throughout the year. Street parking on South Higgins near the Wilma is metered and short-term, and the Orange Street corridor fills quickly on show nights.
The nearest parking structure is the Kiwanis Park Garage on Pattee Street, roughly a 5-minute walk. For a group of 15 or more, the walk from a parking garage in the rain in October is nobody's favorite part of a concert night — a minibus or party bus drops the group at the Wilma's front entrance on Higgins and picks everyone up at a set time after the show. Phone: (406) 728-2521.

Caras Park and the Clark Fork Riverfront
Caras Park (Carousel Dr, Missoula, MT 59801) sits along the Clark Fork River at the base of the Higgins Avenue Bridge and serves as Missoula's primary outdoor event space — home to the Montana Folk Festival each July, River City Roots Festival in August, and Out to Lunch summer concert series on Wednesdays. During Montana Folk Festival weekend, which draws 70,000+ attendees over three days, every surface lot near the riverfront is full by midday Friday and the downtown grid becomes pedestrian-heavy. A charter bus or party bus drops your group at the Carousel Drive entrance to Caras Park before the crowds build and collects everyone at a confirmed pickup time — far cleaner than hunting for a parking spot on a festival Saturday.
Address: 101 Carousel Dr, Missoula, MT 59801.

Montana Snowbowl
Montana Snowbowl (1700 Snowbowl Rd, Missoula, MT 59802) is a ski and snowboard area about 12 miles north of downtown Missoula via Rattlesnake Drive and a winding mountain access road. The Snowbowl road is a single-lane switchback in sections, and on a powder day in January or February, it becomes a slow-moving line of vehicles — some of which don't have appropriate tires for the conditions. The parking area at the base is a single gravel lot with limited capacity; on busy weekends it fills before 9 a.m.
A minibus or charter bus with undercarriage storage for ski bags moves a group of 15–30 up the mountain in one vehicle, avoids the parking fill-out entirely, and gets everyone to the lodge without anyone white-knuckling a switchback in a rental car. Call 406-836-8150 to check availability for your ski day. Phone: (406) 549-9777.

Kettlehouse Amphitheater
Kettlehouse Amphitheater (2100 Mullan Rd, Missoula, MT 59808) is an outdoor concert venue on the west side of Missoula with a capacity of around 4,500. It sits off Mullan Road near the Clark Fork, and the Mullan Road corridor becomes significantly congested on show nights — especially for sold-out events where both the main lot and overflow parking fill before doors open. Rideshare pickups after a show at Kettlehouse operate in the main lot, but wait times on a busy Saturday night can run 30 minutes or more as thousands of people try to leave the same location at once.
A concert party bus drops your group at the venue entrance before the rush and returns at a pre-set pickup time so the whole group loads up and leaves together. Phone: (406) 728-1660.

Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Wildlife Visitor Center
Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Wildlife Visitor Center (5705 Grant Creek Rd, Missoula, MT 59808) is one of Missoula's most popular field trip and group tour destinations, with wildlife exhibits, conservation programming, and meeting facilities. It sits north of downtown off Grant Creek Road — accessible but not walkable from anywhere a group of school kids or conference attendees would be staying. The center hosts educational programs, corporate events, and group tours year-round, and the parking lot is sized for passenger vehicles, not a large vehicle caravan.
A single charter bus or minibus simplifies the logistics entirely: one vehicle, one parking spot, one drop-off. For school groups, the bus handles the gear, the headcount, and the return trip cleanly. Phone: (406) 523-4500.
